For our client in the energy sector we are looking for a QA Engineer (m/f/d).
Tasks / service description:
· Conduct manual and automated testing for Collaboration Suite components (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Confluence).
· Perform regression testing and provide final QA approval for releases.
· Identify, document, and track software defects; validate bug fixes.
· Develop and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts.
· Prepare QA reports to document testing progress and results.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards.
· Support continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Must-have Skills:
· Strong expertise in UI test automation and REST API testing.
· Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Confluence.
· Proven ability to develop and execute test automation for large-scale projects.
· Solid understanding of QA processes, including test documentation and reporting.
· Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and their application in testing.
· Fluent in English.
· Fluent in German.
Nice to have:
· CI/CD and DevOps Experience: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, and integration within DevOps pipelines.
· Kubernetes Knowledge: Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing cloud-native applications.
· Postman Experience: Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and automation.
· Python and PyTest: Experience with Python scripting and using PyTest for test automation.
· BDD / Gherkin / Cucumber: Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and tools like Gherkin and Cucumber.
· TestRail Experience: Knowledge of using TestRail for test case management and test reporting.
· TestKube Experience: Hands-on experience with TestKube for test orchestration and running tests in Kubernetes environments.
