We are looking for an Azure Architect (m/f/d):

Project Overview: Azure Cloud Central File System (CFS) Assessment

1. Problem Description:
The partner is experiencing performance issues and interruptions with their Azure-based Central File System (CFS), especially in the CAD workflow, where file copying frequently fails. These issues began after migrating from an on-premises VMware setup to Azure.

2. Key Details:
• Current Setup: CFS was designed in 2015 and migrated to Azure three years ago.
• Issues Post-Migration:
○ Slow file browsing (1-3 seconds per interaction).
○ Frequent CAD workflow interruptions.
○ Hub model causing system strain.
○ Oversized file shares impacting performance.
• Previous Attempts: Microsoft support couldn’t resolve the issues.

3. Goals:
• Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Benchmark against best practices.
• Provide recommendations for optimization or redesign using modern Azure services.

4. Deliverables:
• Assessment of the current setup.
• Report on gaps and inefficiencies.
• Actionable recommendations for improvement.
