Descrierea și cerințele proiectului
Project Overview: The project focuses on refactoring the testing structure for a high-voltage charging software developed by a leading German OEM, which is already deployed in vehicles on the road. The software undergoes frequent updates and new feature releases, necessitating a robust and efficient testing framework. The codebase primarily utilizes Matlab/Simulink with some components in C. The goal is to redesign the test cases and testing framework using test case modeling and advanced methodologies to improve efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
Details:
- Location: 100% remote
- Language Required: English / German would be a plus (some test requirements are in German, but there is an internal translator available).
- Length of the contract: Initially 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
- Availability: 40 hours/week
- Start date: 01.03.2025
Tasks
- Test Case Redesign and Refactoring: Redesign and refactor existing test cases to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure maintainability using test case modeling and established test methodologies.
- Test Structure Optimization: Improve and maintain the overall test structure by implementing test automation frameworks and optimizing processes for better scalability and reliability.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on expertise in TPT (Time Partition Testing) for automated testing, with experience in utilizing the tool for embedded systems being a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of advanced test methodologies, such as black-box testing, equivalence class testing, requirements-based testing, state-transition testing and test case design.
- Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink and C programming is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in testing within the automotive domain, with an understanding of industry standards and best practices will be a plus.
