For our client, a DAX group with more than 100,000 employees worldwide, we are currently seeking a

Senior Lead Developer (m/f/d) Python with experience in AWS

Start: März/April 2025
Duration: initially 3 months with option to extend until the end of 2025
Location: remote
Workload: full-time or at least 80%


Tasks:

- Implementation of Rest / JSON based Backend Services in Python, which are based on multiple Microservice frameworks to support the Go Live of a Data Driven Farming customer solution
- Realizing the implementation based on the technical concepts within the Data Driven Farming IT and based on the functional and non-functional requirements of the customer solution
- Close cooperation and coordination with colleagues in the data engineering team
- Definition of the system interfaces and the associated documentation of the required architecture components
- Implementation of the solutions throughout the entire life cycle from development, testing and deployment to production, including documentation and code improvement
- Working in software development teams with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban)
- Support the DF Microservice system landscape in the Amazon AWS Cloud


Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of Python, ideally more than 5 years of professional project experience
- Proven record of developing production-ready software solutions, ideally in scalable cloud infrastructures
- Deep Knowledge in AWS with Terraform and Microservices, ideally knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- ideally experience in supporting an IoT-related product's backend system
- Solid knowledge in Software development life cycle and agile development methods like SCRUM/Kanban which is supported with JIRA Tools and Version Control tools (Git)
- Understanding of Database concepts: NoSQL and SQL
- ideally experience in supporting an IoT-related product's backend system
- Very good communication skills with international teams
- Very good English language skills
