On behalf of our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, we are currently seeking an Interim ServiceNow Product Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate collaborative design sessions with stakeholders to define standards that enhance ServiceNow (SNOW) usage, reduce architectural complexity, and ensure value delivery through a strong product vision and a prioritized, outcome-driven backlog.

• Solve complex problems using a human-centered design approach, leveraging user research to enhance service management and optimize the usability of workflows.

• Work closely with developers, solution architects, product managers, and fellow designers to improve interfaces and workflow experiences, using wireframes and prototypes to quickly bring ideas to life.

• Coordinate and lead design critique sessions to gather input and help digital product teams define performance goals, user signals, and metrics for ongoing optimization.

• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, advising on solution designs that align with overall business strategy.

• Contribute to “Train-the-Trainer” initiatives, empowering citizen developers through ServiceNow App Engine training while maintaining high standards for digital product quality and ensuring awareness of accessibility and compliance standards.

• Advocate for strong product design practices within the company and the broader design community, and support product launches to drive adoption and user engagement.


Your Background:

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience working as a product designer with the ServiceNow platform, specifically with App Engine and related modules.

• Background in IT service management solutions (e.g., ICT integration) and automation of business processes.

• Deep knowledge of best practices in IT product architecture and design.

• Strong grasp of usability principles and design techniques.

• Familiarity with UX methods such as ideation and storyboarding.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

• Hands-on experience in multidisciplinary, collaborative teams, including direct cooperation with development teams on large-scale implementation projects.

• Demonstrated success working in fast-paced agile or Scrum environments.

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to analyse, solve problems, and make sound decisions.

• Comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
